If you have not bought a DJI product from the a Drone Factory but have purchased from another authorised DJI sales outlet and you believe that you have a problem that could be covered by warranty, you must take the product back to where you purchased it. Your supplier should then deal with the matter.
NON WARRANTY REPAIRS
Out of warranty or crash repairs can normally be performed by our own repair technicians at the Drone factory. We keep an extensive range of repair parts but sometimes parts will have to be ordered from DJI direct so the repair can be delayed. We charge £60 an hour for repairs, £45 for hobbyist inspection/diagnosis and £65 for professional inspection/diagnosis. NOTE: Inspection fees are to be paid upon delivery. We will then tell you how much the repair is going to cost, this can take up to 5 working days.
Where, upon inspection, we believe that the repair should take place under warranty (see terms & conditions), the aircraft or item will be sent at the customer’s cost to DJI Europe. The cost of this is £80. DJI will then either accept or reject the warranty claim. If rejected, the aircraft can be repaired by DJI at cost to the owner. We cannot be responsible for the time frame of the return of the product.
Grey imports are aircraft or other DJI items being sold by cut price online shops at less than DJI’s recommended retail price. We will not handle warranty repairs of aircraft purchased from non authorised DJI dealers. If you are submitting an item that you think is covered by warranty we will need proof of where it has been purchased from.
